Joyful Summer Wedding in the Perth Orchards

July 20, 2021

Apple trees, cheesy grins, and a flower crown wearing black labrador called Geroge = just some of the delicious ingredients in Hayley & Michael’s recipe for this joyful summer wedding in the Perth orchards at Core Cider House. With a ceremony under the trees and a long table reception under the stars, the day flowed perfectly from beginning to end, allowing room for the couple and all their guests to celebrate to their heart’s content.

The day was styled to match the personalties of both the bride and groom; bright, cheery, and heartfelt. Bunches of bunny tails, roses, and pampas grass were brought together by Poppy’s Flowers to add soft vibrance to this already stunning Western Australian venue. Kirk Goodsell officiated the ceremony, perfectly matching the bubbly atmosphere of the day as he always does. De La Rosa Cakes made the delicious 3 tier cake that stood tall amongst the tables, featuring a little surprise from George the Labrador.

Hayley’s bridesmaids wore the most stunning pink pleated silk dresses, while the bride added a personal touch to her look by wearing her grandmother’s wedding pearls. The natural hair and makeup was styled to perfection by talented Perth makeup artist, Connor Adams.

At the reception, the couple were surprised with a display of video messages from their loved ones who couldn’t attend the wedding due to Covid. Although the day had already been filled to the brim with tears of joy, this last event for the night was unmatched in damp smiling faces.
